About Me

My Story

I am a UK-born counsellor, shaped by a childhood spent partly in Canada and years of travelling that opened my eyes to the many ways people live and feel. Growing up as a carer for my siblings with additional needs taught me to notice life’s quieter details. The small strengths, the difficult moments, and the humour that often appears when we least expect it.

I bring all of this into my work: a grounded, attentive presence, warmth, and a sense of humour when it feels helpful. And there is always a cuppa on offer.

I work as a relational, trauma informed counsellor supporting adults in exploring emotional patterns, relationships, and the deeper impact of early experiences. My approach is integrative and shaped by your individual story. Sessions can include reflection, emotional exploration, moments of lightness, and space for more difficult feelings. We follow what feels most meaningful for you at your pace, with all parts of your experience welcome. Clients often come to me when life feels outwardly manageable but internally more complex, when there is a sense of holding things together, while also feeling exhausted, stuck, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating.

My work is flexible and responsive, adapting to the way you think, feel, and make sense of your world. I aim to offer a space that feels steady, human, and unpressured, where you can arrive as you are.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regular training, which continues to inform and deepen my practice. Alongside my individual work, I am training as a couples counsellor and will begin offering couples therapy in the near future, which further enriches my understanding of relationships and relational patterns.

Rooted in Somerset, I work with clients locally and online, and also support a local charity, reflecting my belief in care, connection, and community.
